    @stampingranny
I haven't had time to refer any one to anyone's site much less had time to read my own. I've been in CA. since a week ago today with no internet access. That name doesn't sound familiar at all. I'm puzzled about it????

Hello, I was wondering if you referred someone to my xanga site as a friend?  An afirrah has asked to be my friend and it looks like you referred her to me but her website it in a foreign language?

@stbgandalf, We really enjoy Kim & her husband, and we see a lot of them. I was excited when at the last minute she decided to go. She thought as I did that the Nicaragua mission was an awesome, life changing expereince. BTW I'm related to some of her husband's family also. :)
  • stbgandalf

@mom1945 - Kim!  Her husband is my cousin.  We used to run around together quite a bit before he moved.

  • mom1945
@stbgandalf, would that be Kim, Angie, Shaun or Jared? :)
  • stbgandalf

I think perhaps we have a mutual friend, one who went with you on your Nicaragua trip?

    Good Morning ,

My computer seems to have an attitude this morning or something ! Doing things I've never seen it do , who knows ?

On the apology question I think Men would expect fast results and the drawn out process that women believe must take place is sometimes mellodramatic , y'know ? If Jesus and GOD drew everything out and expected drama and politics to be manifested into the Forgiveness process , Yikes ...... This is the part that is so hard for any Man to admit and reconcile , so why do women in general believe They must drawl it out to the ridiculous and painfullness ?

I was programmed as a child that We must accept an apology and then in actions My Parents counteracted these teachings in false musings and recollections of the apologies and sins thus creating two sided emotional sensories in My mentality ! My Parents are horrible in Forgiving wrongs and complaining even after the apology ! This is just the Human detorration process that

What a neat idea for a gift! I'll have to remember that. I like to hear Larry preach also.

One of the best sermon / marriage ceremonies I ever witnessed was in Quinter , Kansas preached by Larry Bower . I grew up knowing Larry as a teenager and young man . He married a cousin through marriage to Me . Brad Flora and Sarah Wise ( Britton's Wises girl ) . He began the ceremony with how His companion and Him started looking for wedding presents . They looked at waffle irons and the like appliances . Nothing caught there eye and They ended up at the Wagoner's store in Englewood . They began to look at Bible's , He described all the Bible's and their features , big and small , pricey & cheap . He denoted how They decided on the plain , black , simple , no frills , Bible .

They had council'd Brad and Sara and their like Families and went through the Bible and Larry had highlighted passages for Bradley the Husband , Becky had highlighted passages for Sara the Wife and then together They had highlighted passages for their future Family . THIS WAS THEIR GIFT . He then preac

I agree! We have some awesome, younger ministers who are making a difference. I believe if they continue to preach Jesus the other issues will fall into place.

Possessions don't draw us into the kingdom, they sometimes hinder us.

Brokenness from hitting the bottom provides an empty vessel for Jesus to fill with His Holy Spirit!

    Let's stay focused on Jesus!

There are many good sermons being preached from the younger generations and They seem to be able to hit on the appalling and pertinent topics . I know Grant Fullmer has been ridiculed by alot of the older 60ish generation Ministers in the same OGBBC Faith . My thoughts are that the message needs to be elevated for the betterment of the Faithful and quit adhering admiration onto the speakers . Each of Us can and will be used as a tool for GODS Master Plan to be instructed and implemented . Putting anyone onto a pedestal heaps alot of undue responsibilty on the Man and not on Our GOD ! Jesus is the avenue and the primary tool in the toolbox for all Humans to endure until the call comes .
I fell into the material world enticements of possessions and things and thought it elevated My status in the pecking order , was Lukewarm in My Faith and Church , led by poor examples , was mired down by My illness and sinned .No one as far as Humans can save Me and until bottomed out in Life did

Hi Brent, Your's is the first "chat" message I've gotten and I didn't even know how to get into it. Thanks for sending it now I think I have it figured out. :) Is the "chat" message open for everyone to read like the comments or is it private?

Reuben's message today was a "breath of fresh air" He is such a blessing to the brotherhood. Wish we could hear that kind of preaching every Sunday! He was so on target with his focus on Jesus as the only way to heaven. The church should be there to help and encourage us along the way, but unles we have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ the church isn't going to do us much good!

I'd love to hear Reuben and whoever else, singing praises in the work place! He's so gifted and praise the Lord we benefitted from his gift today!

    Thanks for your message!

If You enjoyed Ruebens sermon ? I go down to Fullmer's Landscaping occasionally to visit or pickup pavers or something . Rueben is such a talented designer and often sings or ministers in the working area in the loft . It is very homey . When My Dad goes with Me He will always get up a song and the voices harmonize in Praises . It is encouraging to Me that sermons are being exhorted to the congregations of Christians that the OGBBC isn't the vessel that gets Us all to Heaven but just a title .

Blessings to All , Brent Roland Holsinger
